It doesn’t even need a game being installed in order to use the 3D functionality of shutter glasses. You can simply create an own stereoscopic picture, either with your webcam or a digicam.
I use to take one picture of a motive of my choice and moving about 10cm (4 inches) to right, taking a second one pointing at the same object of the motive.
Afterwards you can take these two pictures and create a .jps file with imagemagick. Do it like this on Linux:
convert +append -resize x1024 right.jpg left.jpg stereo.jpg && mv stereo.jpg stereo.jps
If you’ve got Windows, just search the Web, I’m sure there plenty of tools out there, which can do magic too 😉
