Settings for Inkscape:
Inkscape->File->Input-Device->Device:<your device here>->”Screen”
You achieve best effects for sensitivity with the calligraphic brush.
Settings for GIMP:
GIMP->edit->preferences->Input Devices->Configure Extended Input Devices->Device:<your device here>
In order to have real sensitivity effect, use in GIMP the “ink” tool for painting.
Settings for Krita:
Use “draw freehand” in the most upper left corner of the tool box.
It’s not really fun to work with the graphics tablet yet. The buttons are missing, the default mouse behaves also odd. Sometimes the graphics tabled doesn’t work at all, and I have to unload the aiptek driver and restart kdm/gdm again. I didn’t manage to access the whole visible screen with my TwinView configuration. But I’m not sure if there are some side effect from the pretty beta NVIDIA 180.11 driver. And I’m on a x86_64 install also.
Well, at least I was the very first time able to use the sensitivity feature of my pen after many many years. Thanks got I didn’t sold this piece at eBay.
