Understanding vmbuilder (a bit)

If you are using kvm (or qemu) on Ubuntu, then you can build a vm from scratch with the tool vmbuilder. Install it first by doing this:

aptitude install ubuntu-vm-builder

Creating a virtual machine is simple, but the most examples I’ve found left me back with an useless installation – at best.

3D Vision with window mode – Nvidia 266.58 – Thanks!

Goole Earth in 3D - with Nvidia 3D VisionOn the forth of January 2011 Nvidia revealed a new Beta driver, which was quite a surprise for me. I’ve been looking for this driver since it was first announced in November 2009. It should bring the capability to support 3D Vision in a windowed mode. The subs were hardcoded on the left eye, the video was out of sync and the language was Russian. Continue reading “Avatar 3D For Nvidia's 3D Vision Glasses”
